Money Making Challenge – Step 18

by Kylie on October 2, 2012

I’m a little bit excited because I recently got to step 18 with my money making challenge. It’s been a really interesting experience, doubling my money. Now I am getting to higher amounts it is a little trickier, but that just makes it more interesting!

To get from step 16 to 18 I haven’t done a lot differently. I bought a few things to resell, but this time larger items instead of the small $2 items, so the profit margin was higher too. I am still selling my eBook, Blog To Book and earned interest on my account. Last month was a busy month for me, so I did not expect to do much or go much further with my money making challenge.

Now I am back and things have settled down for a little bit I can concentrate more. I mentioned recently that I have 3 ideas I want to implement for this challenge. 1 of them I am going to do this week and if all goes well, I should get a return on my investment next month. I’ll let you know how it goes once I have done it.

One of the other ideas I have will take a fair amount of time to do, but I think will be really worth it once it is all done. I am giving myself 6 months to complete it. It will cost me money now and I won’t make any money from it until after the 6 months, when I launch it, but it is a long term project/business, so it is worth it to me to spend the time to get it set up right and launched properly.

The third project can be started this week (actually, I plan to do it tomorrow), but it won’t be completed for probably 6 – 12 weeks. It is going to cost about $200, but will net me about $600. It’s just an uncanny opportunity that came up and I have jumped on it. It’s not something that will happen often and is only a once off thing. It will be interesting to see how long it takes and what happens. I can’t share many details on this one and I know it probably sounds like one of those too good to be true things, but it’s not.

So that is where I am at with the challenge. I am hoping that I will be on step 19 before too long, even though the current projects I have are long term ideas. To see all post on this challenge click here.
