My personal mission statement

I was unsure about posting this, but here it is…

I posted about how to do your own mission statement, so thought I should share mine:

“I will always put my family first. I will be an example of how to live life to the fullest, follow your dreams, care for others, love fully and deeply, improve the world and leave everywhere you go better than you found it. Be an example of living a financially free life while following your heart and passions and helping others as you do it.
I help others improve their lives both financially and emotionally through public speaking, my websites, books and attending events. I am an inspiration for sufferers of mental health.

I strike a balance between my family, my career, other people and my desires. Time management and prioritizing allow me to live the life I want and have time with my family. Travelling is part of my life. I incorporate travel and new life experiences into my daily life. Take chances and opportunities when they arise.

Take time out just for myself to renew myself.

I am not what happened to me, I am who I choose to become ~ Carl Jung

Treat people how you wish to be treated. Treat them for the people they are, the people they can become, not what everyone sees. Make no judgements, just love them.”

Thank you for the link on creating a mission statement. We do not currently have a mission statement but I will start working on it now!

I have never formalised a personal mission statement but it is something that I should give some thought to. Yours seems very practical and honest Kylie – thanks for sharing this with us!

Family comes first indeed. Because during times of crisis, it is usually the family that remains by your side. I admire your personal mission to apply the golden rule – Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Thanks for sharing.

I love that! I think this would be key for me too. “Take time out just for myself to renew myself.” I especially feel that way about my health. It’s life’s greatest asset, and it’s easy to take for granted. Great post!

Doing this is a great opportunity for reflection and focusing in on the things that are most important. I hope it helps you with that.

Great idea!

I think it’s great that you shared it with the world–hopefully that will help in living it.
